Women have long been in no way inferior to men. They are strong, unyielding, driving their own lives and influencing others. They wear trousers and sport brutal tattoos. But only at home, in the bathroom, can a woman relax and reflect on her different self. Fragile and defenseless, often wanting to go with the flow. Perhaps a woman's strength lies in her weakness? Or should she swim, relying only on herself?
The panel is named after Amphitrite, goddess of the sea and wife of Poseidon. Incidentally, the ancient Greeks depicted Amphitrite with tattoos. On her temples. And always naked.
