The title "Oroboro" is a palindrome: it reads the same from left to right and from right to left. And the work itself is structured in the same way: the profiles of the faces carved into the relief look in both directions—like reflections in each other, as in a mirror of time. Each face is not an individual, but an archetype: a person looking into the past and the future simultaneously.
From such fragments, one can create a vertical, narrow, almost monumental panel, like an ancient obelisk or a tablet of destiny. The color scheme can be anything. Each profile is part of a single whole, a single thought, a single circle. This work is about cycles, about repetition, about being part of infinity. About how the past and the future are not two points, but a single line, closed within itself. Like a palindrome. Like life.
