This ceramic panel depicts Adam not as the ideal proto-man, but as a man standing on the brink. He has already plucked the fruit and holds it in his hand, but has not yet tasted it. This is the moment before consequences. The moment when free will becomes destiny.
The fruits are the embodiment of the forbidden, the desired, the inevitable. The yellow ribbon that crosses the composition seems to mark the boundary between ignorance and reason, between the Garden of Eden and a world where good and evil exist.
Something is about to happen that will change everything.
This is not a story about the Fall—it is a reflection on choice. About how each of us is Adam. Every day we pick our fruit, and each time we face the same question: "What will happen next?"
